The Stranger That I Once Knew. 

There are some people that you meet in your life that end up being more important to you than you could ever imagine. You get to know them so well that it almost begins to seem like you can read each others minds. You learn their tendencies, their quirks, their personality, their problems, and even learn to memorize every part of their laugh or smile.

They become your best friend or your someone you end up in a relationship with; they become your family. And when you think of the future, they always manage to have a place there because the thought of living without them seems impossible. But we all know that life doesn’t always work in the way that we want it to. Friendships falter, relationships fail, and people drift away until they don’t even talk or see each other again.

One day, it hits you that this person who meant the world to you is suddenly not a part of your life anymore. And it feels like you’re left with all this knowledge about a person that you’ll never use again and memories of a person that is now just another face on crowded street. You realize that someone is out there that defines part of your life and is part of the reason of who you are today; you realize that someone that you already met is out there with the possibility with you two destined to never cross paths ever again. You realize that a ghost of your past is still a breathing soul that walks on a different path that you’re on. This is the stranger that you once knew; a stranger that was once meant everything to you.
